Pastor David Fox
Psalms 119:9-11
Pastor David Fox followed the Lord’s call to Eastside in the summer of 2001. He and his family have a heartfelt love for the church that is evident in all they do. Pastor Fox reaches out to his congregation through more than his three weekly sermons and teaching his weekly adult Bible study. He also loves to visit and spend time with the church family. He is available whenever needed to meet their needs or to simply be with them during life’s difficult times. Pastor Fox leads the Victory Bible Class, an adult Bible Study that guides couples through their walk with Christ.
Pastor Fox says: “My years at Eastside have been the most wonderful years of my life! I love being the pastor of Eastside Baptist Church and feel so very blessed by God in leading me here. The people of Eastside are in my heart and it’s a privilege to serve them and serve with them.”
His wife, Robin oversees Eastside’s Ladies Ministry which offers all women in the church, high school age and older, a chance to fellowship and grow together through enjoyable activities. She also is a member of the choir, orchestra, participates in special music, and teaches our four’s and five’s in Kids 4 Truth on Wednesday nights.
Their children David, Davina and Dalton are all active in the children’s and teen’s ministries.
Pastor Fox grew up in Harford County, Maryland, in the small town of Darlington. He received the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior when he was 21. Shortly thereafter, he answered the Lord’s call to full-time ministry.
Robin accepted the Lord as Savior at age seven, and had the privilege of learning to serve in full-time Christian work from her parents’ ministry. After marrying in June, 1992, the Foxes moved to Gray, Tennessee, where Pastor Fox served for nearly nine years as the Youth Pastor of Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church.
During the times he isn’t busy at the church, Pastor Fox can be found spending time with his family or shooting hoops at the local YMCA.

Church Planter Brian Norris
Galatians 2:20
Pastor Brian Norris has an active, on-the-go type personality that works well as a church planter. He started ministry in 2002. Brian served as youth pastor at Eastside for seven years, and he and his wife were sent in May 2011 to establish a new church in Uptown Charlotte, NC.
Brian says: "Everything begins and ends with the Gospel. By God's grace, Citylight Baptist Church will be a vibrant church focused on the good news of Jesus!"
Brian loves to spend time in the outdoors. He and Laura have two lovely little girls, Ella Nicole and Heidi Jane.

Music Director Mark Martin
Philippians 3:10
Brother Mark Martin began his service in the ministry here at Eastside. He and his wife Candy moved to Greene County to join the Eastside family in 2007. Since that time, they have been blessed with two precious additions, their daughter Lily Katherine and son Micaiah Joseph.
Mark says: "What a joy it is to see God use music to glorify Himself and touch hearts. The message of Christ’s death and resurrection put to song never ceases to impact lives."
Brother Mark uses his passion for music to serve as choir director. He constantly strives to find great ways for our vocalists and musicians to glorify God. Brother Mark also serves as office manager and leads the college and career class, Eastside Connection. Using topical and book studies, the class helps college students and those starting early in their career to keep their focus on God and His path during a time of major decision making. Moreover, he enjoys writing and playing music, on top of keeping up with the Clemson Tigers, running, and reading good books.
Candy is a stay-at-home mom who is also active in Eastside Connection and the church choir.
